With platform lengthening by Network Rail in progress, scheduled for completion in December 2019 but a little behind schedule. At the time of this photo Grindleford station comes in the worst 25 out of over 2600 in the UK for punctuality of its trains. The station was originally able to accept trains of at least 6 carriages!
