Former entrance to Heptonstall Methodist Chapel

This would have been the original doorway into the octagonal chapel which was built in 1764.The chapel was enlarged in 1802. At some point (possibly the 1802 rebuilding), two new doorways were created, one to either side of the original doorway, with a window being added in place of the original door.
