At The Ridings - an extensive housing development > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4309694 - https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4309722 to the west of The Street in Poringland. Press Drive is named after Private Bertie Press, who served with the Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment and was killed in action in France/Flanders on 16 July 1917. He was born and lived in Poringland and is commemorated at the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial as well as on the Poringland war memorial.
