Early to mid 19th century, these single-storey vernacular properties are described in their 1992 Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300012480-castle-green-newport#.Xa_6X-hKhPY as being "amongst the best surviving examples of single-storey traditional cottages in the town"
