The museum opened in 2003 but has expanded massively since in several phases. This was my first visit in 2009 and the site has changed almost beyond recognition. This engine was awaiting the construction of the hall to enclose it and is a Ruston 6VE from the BBC Moorside Edge Radio Station in Yorkshire. This link shows the finished product - Image
