Details of the statue Image, which was:- Erected to commemorate the return of Hawick Callants from Horsehole in 1514, when, after the Battle of Flodden they routed the English Marauders and captured their flag Horsehole is in Image, about 3.5km down the Teviot from here, but a long way from Flodden.
