22 West End Street was the location of the Queen Adelaide public house, which closed in July 1960. The first recorded licensee was Daniel Armes, a horse dealer. The former Perseverance pub, currently the Fat Percy > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6293558 , is situated on the other side of the road.
