Turning left, away from the gate in 'Watery hazard' the scene is this public footpath leading towards the eastern section of Turf Pits Lane, Sutton Coldfield. The lane was severed from its western section by the building of the M6 Toll Motorway. The lane, at its western end, runs from the B4151 Slade Road. At its eastern end it connects with Camp Road just inside the Lichfield boundary. At its north-western end Camp Road connects with Little Hay Lane from the north, Hillwood Common Road from the south and Watford Gap Road from the west. The sign just visible in the photo reads 'POLLUTION CONTROL VALVE'. Time photo taken 12.56 pm BST (British Summer Time).
