The Library is on the right and Premier Inn in the distance. The old drill hall was built in 1890, and is a multipurpose Arts Centre and Theatre, and the Rolling Stones once played there in 1963. The sculpture of a face is of welded stainless steel by Rick Kirby, and was erected in 2007 costing £30,000.
