On the trackbed of the former Highland Railway Hopeman Branch. Beyond the far bridge was the site of Cummingston Station, which had a life of a mere 12 years, opening in 1892 and closing in 1904. Passengers services to Hopeman only survived until 1931, with final closure to freight occurring in 1957. The building is a sewage pumping station, of much more recent origin.
