Emblem Cottage was the home of jockey George Stevens Image] who rode five Grand National winners, more winners than any other jockey. The cottage is named after the 1863 winner 'Emblem' which was owned by the 9th Earl of Coventry of Croome Court in Worcestershire. In the village of Earl's Croome there is a house named Emblem Villa Image] after the same racehorse.
