A large 16th or 17th century house, Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101373491-the-old-hall-cley-next-the-sea#.XYhpXShKhPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1373491 in 1952, quite soon after a fair amount of restoration work had been completed. The listing details give an extensive description of the house, its external construction and its many intriguing internal features which include a tiller figure from a wrecked French ship and some 17th century wooden panelling.
