The end cottage of the row of three is Well View. Built in the late 18th or early 19th century of chalkstone, the cottage is listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1033844 The cottage was at one time a private fire station with a ladder hung on the gable wall. Broad Hinton is a small village off the road from Avebury to Wroughton over Marlborough Downs.
