Late 17th century Grade II Listed public house, substantially altered around 1840. Over the door was a painted date of 1762. The Malt B Brewing Company started brewing here in early 2008 and ceased in early 2012. Apparently recently renovated as a private home as the 2016 Google street view shows it for sale and with a sign reading 'Libertys Diner'. A former Batemans pub that closed in 2012 it was The Massala Indian Restaurant for a short period around 2013-14. Planning permission was granted for change of use on the 20th April 2016.
