Another view of the former Tamworth Lido in Castle Park, public swimming baths, from 1937 until their closure in 1989. It replaced the former Victorian baths building in Church Street. The building which is diagonally opposite in this view houses The Sons of Rest. The Sons of Rest was a society for retired men founded by Lister Muff in 1927 and there are similar clubs in other areas. Photo taken at 3.49 pm BST (British Summer Time).
