Appearances are deceptive here. The red Leyland AEC bus on the A4055 Broad Street in Barry shows the WESTERN WELSH name on its side and TREORCHY via Talbot Green as its destination. The reality is that this preserved 1966 bus was formerly part of the Rhondda Transport fleet. Today, Sunday September 8th 2019, it is one of several buses providing free rides around Barry from Cardiff Transport Preservation Group's Broad Street Barry depot during the Western Welsh 90th Anniversary Open Day.
