The A337 approaching Setley, New Forest

Here the A337 annexes a small part of the heathland of Setley Plain (to the east of the road). The road is fenced to prevent commoners' stock from wandering onto it, hence the 50mph speed limit which is higher than the 40mph limit on the unfenced Forest roads.
