Located here. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6227338 Pencader is a village in Carmarthenshire. The earliest known settlement in this area was the abode of an Iron Age chieftain and his family. The settlement had formidable defences which may explain the origin of the name Pencader. In Welsh, pen is top, head or end. Cader is a strong or fortified place.
