This is the point of entry into the City of Nottingham from the west (Ilkeston etc). The bus is on one of the more circuitous routes of the City network. Having come from the City via Derby Road, it then provides a circumferential link between the City's western suburbs before ending at Bulwell, nearly an hour later. The direct route by tram is around 20 minutes.
