Mill House, Mill Lane, Flackley Ash

The millers house for the former Peasmarsh Windmill which stood a little to the south next to Mill Lane. See https://catalogue.millsarchive.org/peasmarsh-mill-lane for a view looking southwards past Mill House to the mill. The windmill was a smock mill built around 1823 and continued in operation until around 1920. Initially purchased to convert into a residence which never came about the mill began to deteriorate and was demolished in 1943.
