A grade II listed building of 1884. A dominant building in the town centre, but hard to photograph unobscured in one go, hence the extreme perspective. Symingtons made stays, later corsets and other foundation wear and similar. This building was sold off in 1980 after the firm had been taken over by Courtaulds, and the business withdrew fully from the town in 1990.
