Opposite view to this Image Part of ancient trackway that ran east to west and on which the old village of Preston was located. The road is also one of the steepest in Brighton having a 1 in 4 gradient. Taken from the junction with Robertson Road which is in TQ3006 whereas the far pavement and shop are in this grid square.
