Footpath under a disused railway line

The line was the Horbury West Curve (known locally as the Crigglestone Curve) which provided a connection between the Lancashire & Yorkshire's main line and its branch to Barnsley. It opened in 1902, passenger services ceased in September 1961 and freight in 1991. The track remained in situ until 2013 and much of the route (though not at this end) has since been opened to walkers.
