Number 28 The Grip, Thorpes, is late 16th century with additions in the late 17th century. Timber framed, plastered and thatched, the house was divided into four tenements circa 1830. Partly altered in the late 19th century as a shop and now restored to one dwelling. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1127703
