The scene is dominated by grade I listed All Saints' Church which dates from the late 15th century. The church is notable for three things: its medieval stained glass, the Gresford Stone (a Romano British altar discovered in 1907), and its peal of eight bells which are included in the 'seven wonders of Wales' rhyme.
