This artwork, made from recycled wooden pallets and motorcycle tyres, is part of Paisley's Animal Recycled Sculpture Trail, which was created by local artist Kevin Cantwell. The cow sculpture commemorates, in particular, the weekly cattle market that was held on Fridays in November and December in nearby Storie Street. The area in which the sculpture stands is shown on the left in Image, though it was not present when that picture was taken.
