Situated in Bear Lane, this TE, which rather resembles an office block, replaced the former Manual TE in the mid-1970s. It has the code THNU and provides telephone and broadband services to 17,291 residential and 1,366 non-residential premises in Newbury plus Bagnor, Donnington, Newtown, Shaw, Speen and Wash Water nearby. Mobile telephone aerials can be seen on the roof of this building.
