This platform is for southbound trains to Penarth via Caerphilly, Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Central. Viewed from platform 1 for trains to Bargoed. In May 2019, trains north to the line's terminus at Rhymney do not stop here. Change at Bargoed for trains to Rhymney.
