Opened in April 2019 as part of the City Connect programme of segregated cycle lanes in Leeds, here the official route uses a service road alongside Wellington Street before turning sharp right just beyond the postboxes onto a new cycle lane. Without a right-turn arrow on the road, it would be easy to miss the turning.
