The final stretch of the electrification of the South Wales Mainline from London to Cardiff is now expected to be completed sometime in 2019. A 700-strong team will be working on the railway between the Severn Tunnel and Cardiff at night and over the Easter weekend 2019. These road-rail vehicles, which are used in installing the overheard line equipment, are parked here when trains are running.
