Drug activity in Birchwood

We have conducted a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act as a result of intelligence received.
From this warrant, there was a large quantity of Class A and Class B drugs seized, along with a large amount of cash seized and a large number of off-road bikes which were causing issues in the area also seized.
We will continue to take positive action when we receive credible intelligence from the community about drug supply and use.

Speeding on Lords Lane

Over a period of time we conducted speed monitoring on the street at different times of the day, monitoring the speed and being a visible deterrent, in the near future we will be conducting this alongside local residents to manage their perception of speed.
We want to thank those drivers who continue to watch your speed and drive within the limits. However, there are still some vehicles that have been observed exceeding the prescribed limits. We want to remind everyone of the importance of adhering to the prescribed speed limits – slow down saves lives.

Residents voice surveys reported drug activity in the Oakwood area.

The Warrington east beat team supported by colleagues from Warrington LPU have executed a drugs warrant within the Oakwood area. This resulted in 1 male being arrested for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs. Along with a large quantity of drugs and weapons being seized.
