These are typical of the doors to pub cellars and the basements of off-licences, prompting the guess that this large building https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6112392 was once a hotel and bar. The 'No 1 Orchard Gardens' address is for want of a better; it's signed above a front door round the corner.
