Metal plate attached to stone post by the A465, in parish of Allensmore (District), Goose Pool, by the road, on East side of road. Hereford extra iron plate, erected by the Hereford turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO HEREFORD 4 ABERGAVENNY 20 Carved benchmark front mid top. Grade II listed.
