Stone post (plate lost) by the UC road (was A10), in parish of Cottered (East Hertfordshire District), Ermine Street, Buntingford, opposite Corney Bury, on the verge, on West side of road. Wadesmill plate, erected by the Wadesmill turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (Royston) (6) (Buntingford) (1) Grade II listed.
