Cast iron post by the UC road (was A426), in parish of Blaby (Blaby District), Lutterworth Road, by No. 57, 30m South of The Elms, by the road, on West side of road. Law iron casting, erected by the Leicester & Lutterworth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / LEICESTER / 5 / MILES : : {Royal Arms of Queen Victoria} : : TO / LUTTERWORTH / 8 / MILES : Maker:- : LAW & SON / LEICESTER : Grade II listed.
