Carved stone post by the A583, in parish of Kirkham (Fylde District), Ribby, on the verge, on North side of road. Lancs. CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : KIRKHAM / 1¼ MILES / PRESTON / 9¼ MILES : : KIRKHAM : : BLACKPOOL / 8 MILES : Now probably slightly relocated at the junction with new estate road 'Hudson Drive'.
