Stone post (plate lost) by the A2, in parish of Faversham (Swale District), London Road, in hedge behind pavement, on North side of road. Dover Road facet, erected by the Chatham & Canterbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (7 / MILES / TO / CANTERBURY) : : (48 / MILES / TO / LONDON) : Milestone Society National ID: KE_LD48
