Gloucestershire County Council offices in Westgate Street. The portico is part of the original building dating from 1816 designed by Robert Smirke (who among many other works was also responsible for the British Museum in London). The side extension were added 1909-11, designed by Matthew H Medland, County sureveyor for Gloucestershire. Grade II listed - see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1245084.
