Carved stone post by the A458, in parish of Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury and Atcham District), Wenlock Road, Shrewsbury. Column Roundabout junction with the A5064 on deep verge, on South side of road. Erected by the Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : miles / Wellington 10 / Shiffnal 17 / Birmingham 43 / Oxford 105 / London 150 : : miles / Wenlock 11 / Bridgnorth 19 / Worcester 48 / Bristol 106 / Bath 112 : Grade II listed.
