Carved stone post by the UC road (was A2), in parish of Temple Ewell (Dover District), London Road, opposite No. 161, Southeast of junction with Temple Side, on narrow kerb adjoining stone retaining wall, on East side of road. Barham stone, erected by the Dover to Barham Downs turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : DOVER / (3) : : (LONDON / 68) : : CANTERBURY / (12) : Rivet benchmark on top. Kent HER.
