Cast iron post by the B3347, in parish of Sopley (New Forest District), opposite Court Farm; where road over Avon Causeway joins B3347, on triangle of grass, on West side of road. Ringwood cast iron post, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 5 / RING / WOOD : : 3½ / CHRIST / CHURCH : Maker:- : Joseph J. Armfield & Co. Ringwood. : Milestone Society National ID: HA_RICH05.
