Carved stone post by the A635, in parish of BRODSWORTH (DONCASTER District), Scawsby, outside Ridgewood School, on the verge, by bus stop, on South side of road. Erected by the Doncaster & Salter's Brook turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- Barnsley 13 Miles Doncaster 2 Miles Grade II listed.
