Metal plate attached to stone post by the A162, in parish of TADCASTER (SELBY District), just South of junction with the A659 in Tadcaster; opposite John Smith's Brewery, near car park and road sign, on West side of road. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
