Commemorative Marker by the A386, in parish of Tavistock (West Devon District), Parkwood Road, opposite the north entrance of Kelly College (was Parkwood), 50 metres north of the entrance to the playing fields car park, built into a stone wall, 10 metres from its end. The inscription reads THIS ROAD WAS MADE BY / PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION / IN A PERIOD OF / GREAT DISTRESS. / 1817 Surveyed Milestone Society National ID: DV_TVOK00cm
