Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of LONGDEN (SHREWSBURY AND ATCHAM District), North of Longden Common, North of Rayjo, on bend just North Parkside, on verge, east side of road. Erected by the Shrewsbury to Longden & Castle Pulverbach turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- SALOP 6 Carved benchmark front lower central. Grade II listed.
