Cast iron post by the A52, in parish of KINGSLEY (STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS District), between Kingsley and Kingsley Moor, in bracken, on South side of road. Lathe iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : HANLEY 8 / STOKE 9 / NEWCASTLE 10½ : : KINGSLEY : : FROGHALL 1½ / ASHBOURNE 13¼ : Maker:- : Chas.
