Carved stone post by the B552, in parish of HENDON (BARNET District), The Ridgeway NW7 (Mill Hill), by No. 8, opposite Millbrook Park, near Engel Park, by drive to No 8, behind chain, on West side of road. Erected by General Post Office in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- IX MILES FROM LONDON Carved bench mark on top. Grade II listed.
