Carved stone post by the B6108, in parish of HUDDERSFIELD (KIRKLEES District), Meltham Road, 150m South of railway bridge, against stone wall, opposite Lamppost 18, on East side of road. Hudds. 'To - From' stone, erected by the Lockwood & Meltham turnpike trust in the 19th century. Defaced. Inscription reads:- : FROM / (HUDDERSFIELD) / (1½) / MILES : : TO / (HUDDERSFIELD) / (1½) / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: YW_XHTF13.
