Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of LYDBROOK (FOREST OF DEAN District), near telephone box, on grass verge, on South side of road. Passage stone, erected by the Forest of Dean turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- To PURTON PASSA(GE) 2 MILES Carved benchmark lower front. Milestone Society National ID: GL_COPU07.
