Metal plate attached to stone post by the B245, in parish of HILDENBOROUGH (TONBRIDGE AND MALLING District), London Road; on green, opposite "The Willows", on East side of road. Tunbridge Iron plate, erected by the Tonbridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LONDON 28 TUNBRIDGE 2 Carved benchmark and rivet on top. Grade II listed.
